The Glock® Gen5 Magazine Floor Plate provides a little more meat to get a hold of, should you have to strip a stuck mag from the magwell, plus it makes a nice roost for your little finger for better control during rapid fire. Good news: Glock®Gen5 Magazine Floor Plates are compatible with all earlier-Gen Glock®magazines, too - all the way back to those for original "Gen1" pistols. If you have a bunch of old mags, you can upgrade them with the new plate.
