V Seven uses a plasma deposition finishing process that gives each Magnesium Hyper-Light KeyMod Handguard a tough, ceramic-like coating with wear resistance far superior to traditional anodizing. The weight-saving extends to the included barrel nut, which is machined from 7068 aluminum alloy that’s light yet does not sacrifice strength.
