For attaching even more variety of accessories, this Blast Shield adds more Picatinny rail length to allow the use of the SMC Spare Magazine Holder and a full size weapon light. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum gives this metal good thermal conductivity and dissipates heat quicker than steel.
