First, it helps block muzzle flash so when you are shooting in low-light conditions, your night vision remains intact. Second, it helps decrease muzzle rise, keeping your gun on target and reducing the lag time between follow-up shots. The Ultradyne Nighthawk Flash Hider is constructed of 416 stainless steel and uses a solid undercarriage design to prevent kicking up dust and debris when shooting from the prone position.
