Each Howa M1500 .30-06 Springfield barreled action has a forged one-piece bolt body, with two locking lugs and an integral bolt handle. The bolt face is precisely squared to the barrel chamber for excellent contact with the receiver recess. An M16-style extractor ensures reliable, positive extraction. Receiver is drilled and tapped for a scope base. A full-length bottom metal with hinged floorplate, magazine box, mag spring, and front/rear action screws are part of the package.

Howa's HACT two-stage trigger delivers a light, consistent pull with a crisp let-off. The "Howa Actuator Controlled Trigger" has a uniquely configured sear and precision-cut contact surfaces, so creep is entirely eliminated. Pull weight is impressively light.
