EGW recommends measuring the hole spacing in your receiver to confirm it matches with the dimensions they have published. Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The channel in the center reduces the overall mass of the mount. Also, in many cases, it will not obstruct usage of factory iron sights. EGW one-piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike. EGW machines these in their shop using one of their machining centers. After machining, the mounts are tumbled, sand blasted, and Type III anodized for long lasting durability. Installation: EGW recommends 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite (loctite is sold separately). Recommend:
- 0 MOA - if shooting 0-500 yards
- 20 MOA - if shooting 500-1000 yards
When zeroing your rifle with a 20 MOA mount, EGW recommends zeroing at 200 yards. The entire mount and accessories (from the mounting screws and wrench down to the packaging) are made in the USA.
This Mount Fits:
- Browning BAR (all calibers)
- Browning BLR Long Action
- Browning BLR Takedown
- Browning BPR
- Browning Short Trac
- Benelli R1* (see below)
This Mount Does Not Fit:
Browning BAR MK3 DBM - This rifle has integrated picatinny style rails that are not removable In October 2019 the overall length of this mount was changed from 5.488"" to 5.094"" to accomodate takedown models. If you purchase a mount from a third party seller there is a chance it may be older and not fit your takedown. *This mount will fit the Benelli R1 Rifles. It will cover the middle hole on their action, but will use the front and back pairs. ***This mount does not fit the BAR ShortTrac Hog Stalker. EGW does not have a mount that works with this application. EGW has found that older model BLRs may use the long action rail despite the caliber. Please measure your hole spacing to confirm.
