When you're out in the field, the last thing you want to worry about is having any sharp points on your hunting rig that can abrade and tear your gear or snag on branches and brush in the wilderness. That's why Spuhr developed its Dehorned Scope Mount Bases, which are purpose-built to provide hunters with the mounting system they need to succeed in the field. Available for a wide range of popular hunting rifles, including the Remington 700, Tikka T3 and the Winchester Model 70, these bases are machined from aluminum to provide users with a solid, single-piece design that's guaranteed to provide strength and repeatability in mounting. The units are also designed to be lightweight, so you aren't carrying any more ounces into the field than you need. Each Spuhr Dehorned Scope Mount Bases are available with 0 MOA or 20 MOA of elevation built into the unit, and all feature a matte-black finish. Both short- and long-action mounts are available, each coming with Torx screws for mounting, as well as stainless-steel pins for pinning the mount to the action.
