Introducing the newest addition to the EGW lineup; our Hunter series picatinny scope mount. EGW saw the need for a shorter, lighter, heavy duty, picatinny scope mount and this is what they came up with. After countless hours of prototyping and testing, the Hunter mount was born. Featuring: 7075 T6 aluminum for an extremely durable yet lightweight construction. Type III hardcoat anodizing protects the mount from whatever nature can throw at it. Chamfered edges provide a snag free hunt. A compact overall length sheds 15% of its weight compared to our other Heavy Duty mounts. The Bergara Premier, and certain Remington 700 models (ie. 700 Police, 700 LTR) require the base to be drilled out for #8 screws. Our Remington 700 mounts that are predrilled are only available in our Heavy Duty platform and are available below. If you would like to drill the mount yourself, we do offer a #8 Drill Out Kit which comes with the appropriate drill bit and screws. Remington Short Action Mounts Drilled for #8 Screws:
